JSAT Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kiyoshi Isozaki;"JSAT") announces that wholly owned subsidiary JSAT International Inc. (Chairman & CEO: Toru Mizoguchi;"JII") has relocated its headquarters to Washington, D.C.
Since 2001, JII has been carrying out marketing activities while its headquarters have been located in Los Angeles. JII decided to relocate its headquarters to Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States, to expand marketing activities for its Horizons-2 satellite (in a 74 degrees west longitude orbital slot), scheduled to be launched in the second half of 2007, and to build a stronger partnership with Intelsat (Headquarters: UK-ruled Bermuda), JII´s business partner in the Horizons-2 project.
The address of the new headquarters is listed below. Please note that this is a temporary address for approximately the next six months for the new Washington, D.C. headquarters. JSAT will announce the permanent address of the new Washington, D.C. headquarters as soon as it is decided.
